Could there really be a miracle cure for many of the chronic conditions we are faced with today? Well, according to the The Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, there may just be..
Now, let me state here and now that there will never be 1 pill that magically fixes everything and leads to an effortless attempt at regaining health and function. NEVER… If you feel otherwise, my suggestion for the time being is to plug yourself back into the matrix and just keep dreaming…
That being said, there really is something out there that we all have access to that stimulates health in a more efficacious way than any single pharmacological intervention. More exciting than that, you don’t need your doctor to prescribe it to you! In fact, I would recommend most people take prescription of this with a grain of salt depending on said doctor’s experience and training in the realm. Let me throw in an additional bonus — it is free! Now, you can spend money on this but it is really a free resource. Having uncertainty how to do or utilize this resource is definitely grounds to seek out help — and there are plenty of people out there that can act as a guide.
Can you believe that you really have the capacity to seriously alter your life for the better with one simple intervention?
Now, there is one caveat (and this unfortunately is where I will lose many readers)… IT TAKES EFFORT!!
“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” – Socrates-
Physical activity has proven time and again to have profound effects on nearly every disease, condition, and injurious state.
I will go so far as to say that exercise training should be the foundation from which ALL musculoskeletal care should be based off of. This would cut down significantly on the failed “interventionalistic” approach that our medical system has instituted over the past century. Sure, there is a time and place for everything…but we have lost track of what is most important, and we need to “re-prioritize” our health into an active model. Sitting by and letting health passively come to you is the recipe for a poor outcome.
We need to move, and stay the on move. Sure we may need a nudge from time to time, but conservative nudges really do have better long term outcomes than the interventionalist.
“Having good health is very different from not being sick.”-Seneca the Younger, 50 AD-
“This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill — the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill — you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.” The Matrix
If you truly want to seek good health, a leap of sorts will need to be taken. And let me tell you, the “dive” can be deep. So, seek out people whom you can trust. Ask questions! And never stop learning.
